Data Collection: Unit Information: Location: South Austin Medical Center Building: Main Floor: 5 Central Order Detail: Facility Department Number: 61277 Discipline: Neuro medical/surgical unit Quantity: Target Start Date: Shift: 12 hours Call Requirements: N/A Weekends: 4 shifts per schedule General Information Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds - 30 Number of Staff – 60 Type of staff: o Day Shift – 1 CNC, 3 RNs, 3 LVNs, 3 PCTs, 1 UC o Night Shift – 1 CNC, 3 RNs, 3 LVNs, 3 PCTs Patient Ratios – 1:5 Type of equipment – Welch Allyn Vital sign, COWs, Hoyer lift, PCA pumps, CareView Virtual Sitter, Telepsych, Teleneuro EMR - Meditech Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. BLS IV Certification for LVNs NIH Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. ACLS List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Stroke NIH, EEGs Gastric decompression, Wound care Best personality Fit: Team oriented Self-motivated Dress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire.
