Austin, TX 78705 Floor: TBD- ICU, Observation, Tele, PCU, Neuro, Ortho Order Detail: Facility Department Number: Discipline: RN Case Manager Quantity: 2 Target Start Date: ASAP Shift: 8:30-5 Call Requirements: None Weekends: ROTATING everyother General Information Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds – Each Unit Varies Number of Staff – 15 RNs, 15 SW Type of staff: o Day Shift – 18 staff members/skill mix o Night Shift - NA Patient Ratios – 1: 30 RN to patient Type of equipment – Computer, office equipment EMR – Meditech / Midas Permanent Positions on Unit Avaliable? (Y/N) – Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Meditech or HCA experience Bed side case management experience at least 1 year Post acute care knowledge Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. Meditech/Midas or HCA experience Throughput experience List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Discharge planning and progression Hard conversations with family, patients and open discussion with MD for plans of care Best personality Fit: Strong personality to have hard conversations Adaptable and proactive Dress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire.
