EMR – Meditech Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. PCU experience Knowledge of cardiac rhythms and surgical patients Chest tube management, epidurals Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. Teamwork ability Time management with high turnover of patients List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Post cardiac cath, EP studies, device placements, groin management, chest tubes , post op surgical patients Critical drips, epidurals, PCA Best personality Fit: Outgoing, team oriented, willing to go above and beyond for patients REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: BLS & ACLS Floating Area(s): ICU taking PCU type patients, PCU, Med-surg (taking 5 patients) Dress Code: Scrub Color/Attire – Navy or white, can mix or match Weekends and On call: Every other weekend or 4 weekend shifts
