Job Description:
The EKG technician is primarily responsible for performing electrocardiograms (EKGs) and holter monitor hookups and scanning. Responsibilities also include editing and filing all EKG recordings or cardiology records and appropriate billing of chargesBill Rate ***8-Week AssignmentShift 5/8's Mon - Fri --- 0800 -- 1630On Call Every Other WeekendCerner experience not requiredRequired: w Current American Heart Association (AHA) or client(ARC) or American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) - BLS and ACLS w/Registry eligible as a Cardiac Sonographer through ARDMS or CCI credentialing Preferred: RDCS or RCS
