Job Description:

Dates of Coverage: 12:00 am March 21, 2026 3 -6 mos assignment to extend as needs require Reason for Coverage: Group model transitioning to Employed. Schedule (Shifts and Hours): IR providers work M- F 7:30 – 4 with 24 hour call coverage, nights and weekends onsite.Practice Setting: Hospital and some remoteAverage Number of Cases Per Day: TBD depending on subspecialty. This is a very busy department.Trauma Level/Designation: Trauma lDocumentation System/EMR: EPIC/PowerScribe/PACSDescription of Support Staff: Full ComplimentPatient Age Demographic: Neonates, adolescents, adults, geriatrics; rarely if any pediatrics.Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 90-120 days with completion of appsSubmission Requirements Board certified or Board eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology (AOBR). - [REQUIRED] Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology - [HIGHLY PREFERRED] Active CT license or IMLC at the time of submission - [REQUIRED] Proficiency with PACS, Power scribe, and current radiology IT platforms, US and Stereotactic guided biopsies, aspirations, localizations., etc… Valid medical license (or eligibility) in CT for Saint Francis and Johnson Memorial Hospital. - [REQUIRED] DEA registration and state-controlled substance certification. Or eligibility to obtain both. - [REQUIRED] Current BLS certification (ACLS optional depending on subspecialty) - [REQUIRED] Maintained credentialing in accordance with medical staff bylaws and regulatory requirements. Experience in high-volume clinical environments with an integrated health system. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with referring clinicians and multi-disciplinary teams. Prior experience with hybrid onsite/remote workflow models. Strong commitment to quality, safety, and patient-centered care. Self-Query NPDB (Should be pulled within the month) [REQUIRED] at time of presentation.
