ATC West Healthcare Services is partnering with a reputable plastic surgery center that is seeking a PACU RN to work Sundays and provide support for their full-time PACU nurse.

Position Details:

• Shift: Sundays, approximately 10 hours per day

• Setting: Small, well-organized OR with an exceptional surgical technician

• Caseload: 1–2 cases per day, allowing for a steady and manageable workflow

• Training Opportunity: The ideal RN will excel in PACU and have interest in cross-training in pre-op and intraoperative care

Job Details

• Location: Hospital ER/GYN and L&D call
• Total Number of Beds: 10 LDRP, 3 PP, & 1 Triage
• Number of Physicians in Practice: 2, 5 CNMS
• 40%-50% Gyn, 1-4 Gyn surgeries per day
• 15%-35% C-sections
• Average Number of Nursery Admissions Per Day: 2-5
• Avg Daily Census: Newborns – 3-4
• Avg Daily Census: Peds 0-1 every 2 months
• # of beds in nursery – 12 Normal Newborn. No Special Care Nursery
• Documentation System/EMR: EPIC
• PROVIDERS MUST BE ABLE TO COMPLETE C-SECTIONS ALL OB/GYN RELATED SURGERIES

60-90 day credentialing timeframe - dependent on how quickly the application is submitted and extensive their history is. Emergency Temp privileged are possible for providers with a clean background and active OH license & DEA.

Support Staff: Inpatient Hospital = APP 24/7; IN Lab = RN and RT both trained in Endovascular Neuro cases; OR = normal OR contingent (RN, Surg Tech, etc)

Dealbreaker: MUST be neurosurgeon with endovascular fellowship, need someone to do surgeries

Reason for Coverage: Comprehensive Intervention Coverage, required 24/7 coverage for a Comprehensive Stroke Center
