Data Collection: Unit Information: Location: 3A Address: 211 4th Street Alexandria, LA 71301 Floor: 3rd Building: Main Tower General Information Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds -20 Number of Staff 36 Type of staff: o Day Shift 3 RNs, 2 PCTs, 1 secretary o Night Shift 3 RNs, 2 PCTs, 1 secretary Patient Ratios 6:1 Type of equipment Cardiac IV drips, chest tubes EMR - Meditech Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Positive attitude Willingness to learn Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. Team mindset Cardiac experience List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Sheath pulls Assisting MD pulling chest tubes Best personality Fit: Positive mindset REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: BLS and ACLS Floating Area(s): All Med Surg Dress Code: Scrub Color/Attire - Nurses- ceil blue. PCTs- navy blue Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines. Weekends and On call(if any) Full-time staff must work every other Saturday and Sunday
