Data Collection: Unit Information: Location: 4 East Building: NAMC Floor: 4th, East wing Order Detail: Facility Department Number: 61581 Discipline: Medical-Surgical Orthopedics Quantity: Target Start Date: Shift: Call Requirements Weekends: Rotating General Information Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds - 32 Number of Staff – 50 Type of staff: Day Shift – (1 charge, 6 nurses, 3 PCTS) Night Shift - (1 charge, 5 nurses, 2 PCTS) Patient Ratios – 1:5 or 1:6 days, 1:6 or 1:7 nights Type of equipment – PCAs, on-Q pumps, Hoyer lift, traction, wound vacs EMR - Meditech Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Acute care experience, preferably med-surg Flexibility with schedule Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. Meditech charting Nursing skill set – NGT tubes, IV placement, foley management, etc. List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Neurosurgeries (kyphoplasty, decompression, laminectomy), fracture repairs/IM nailing, general surgery Bariatric surgery (gastric sleeve), bladder sling, hysterectomy Best personality Fit: Time management skills are crucial Upbeat, team player Dress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire.
