Ben White Blvd. Austin, TX 78704 Building: North Tower Floor: 3rd Order Detail: Facility Department Number: 65177 Discipline: Shock Trauma Intensive Care Unit Quantity: Target Start Date: Shift: Call Requirements Weekends: General Information Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds - 10 Number of Staff – Type of staff: Day Shift – (example 1 charge, 3 RN, 2 CNA, and 1-3 sitters) 1 Charge Nurse, 5 RN s Night Shift – 1 Charge Nurse, 5 RN s Patient Ratios – 1:2 or 1:1 Type of equipment – GE Bedside Monitors, Alaris Pumps, EMR – Meditech Permanent Positions on Unit Avaliable? (Y/N) – Yes Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Be able to perform and document patient assessments, create and revise plan of care, document outcomes and patient responses, administer and document mediations, and implement physician orders correctly. Escalate patient issues correctly and efficiently. Required: ACLS, BLS, NIHHS. Preferred TNCC or CATN Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. Trauma ICU Experience Surgical ICU Experience List typical procedures performed on unit(s): EVD s/Bolts; Arterial Lines; Central Lines, Chest Tube Insertion Best personality Fit: Teamwork Calm under pressure Dress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire.
