Basic Life Support Med/Surg Experience Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. The unit is capable of maintaining twenty-four hour cardiac telemetry monitoring. POPULATION(S) SERVED: Newborn 0 – 1 month of age Infant 1 month to 2 years of age Child 2 to 12 years of age Adolescent 12 to 21 years of age X Young Adult 18 to 25 years of age X Early Adult 25 to 40 years of age X Middle Adult 40 to 60 years of age X Later Adult 60 to 75 years of age X Very Old Age 75 years of age and older SCOPE OF SERVICES: Care of medical surgical and surgical oncology. STAFFING GRID: The nurse manager and director are responsible for assuring appropriate staffing, working in conjunction with the House Supervisor and Charge Nurses. In the absence of the Director, the manager, unit supervisor or CN of the unit may make decisions regarding unit staffing.
