The Dialysis Care Technician (DCT) delivers high-quality, patient-centered care by performing a variety of delegated patient care services related to treating patients in need of renal replacement therapy (all types of dialysis). Under the supervision of the registered nurse (RN), the DCT assists the nursing staff in providing patient care in accordance with the DCTs skills/training and the needs of the department and consistently assists the dialysis care team with maintaining a clean, well-organized, and safe patient care environment. The DCT is responsible for machine management and documentation of machine quality and safety logs, machine tracking, and inventory as assigned by departmental leadership. The DCT complies with all hospital policies/procedures and observes the State Board rules and regulations for unlicensed personnel. The DCT Performs Dialysis treatment under the supervision of a nurse per state guidelines and facility policies.Facility Requirements:Must have BLS certification, this must be attached to the submission (Must be through the American Heart Association)Familiar with T Fresenius Machines and better water ROsMust be able to do Acute Hemodialysis so they can work with the portable systemsPD experience with Liberty Cycler preferred by not requiredMust have 2 years recent Dialysis experience preferably in a hospital settingMust have Dialysis tech certification, must be attached to resumeMust be available to work 3 days/ week, alternating MWF and TTS.
