    Unit Information: Interventional Radiology Location: CJW Medical Center Chippenham Campus Address: 7101 Jahnke Road, Richmond VA 23225 Floor: 1st Building: Main General Information Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds N/A Number of Staff 10 Type of staff: o Day Shift 3-4 Techs, 3-4 RNs, 1 Scheduler/Coordinator o Night Shift Call Patient Ratios Depends of type of IR procedure performed Type of equipment Discovery 740 IGS EMR Meditech Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Critical Care Experience Procedural Area Experience Moderate Sedation Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. PALS Meditech Experience List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Biopsies/Drain Insertion Angiograms/Peripheral Vascular Paracenteses/Thoracentesis Assist with other imaging needs (CT Coronary/MRI Monitoring/Myelograms) Line Placement RNs are not required to scrub cases Best personality Fit: Outgoing, self-starter, team oriented, positive personality REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: RN, BLS, ACLS Floating Area(s): None likely; possibly assisting in CT, MRI, Radiology Dress Code: Scrub Color/Attire Scrubs provided Weekends and On call (if any): 1-2 nights of call per week, 1 weekend of call every 4-5 weekends
