Position Type: Travel Specialty: LPN/LVN - Med Surg Start Time: 7:00 PM End Time: 7:00 AM Regular Pay: - Submittal Limit: - Remaining Submittals: - General Comments: =============== Unit Information: K6 Spine/Trauma Location: Mission Hospital Address: 509 Biltmore Avenue Asheville, NC 28801 Floor: 6th Building: K Tower General Information Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds - 44 Number of Staff – Varies Type of staff: o Day Shift – 1 Charge, 9RN s, 4 PCT s and 1 Unit secretary. LPN on varying basis paired with Charge RN o Night Shift – 1 Charge, 8RN s, 3 PCT s and a unit secretary. LPN on varying basis paired with Charge RN Patient Ratios – Day Shift 1:5 with stretch 1:6; Night shift 1:6 with stretch of 1:7 Type of equipment – Sky lifts, steady s, Tenor lift, as well as other lifts accessible if needed. Computer workstations, dynamaps, and label printers in every patient room. EMR – Cerner/Powerchart Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: Travel RNs Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Med-Surg/Tele Experience Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. Trauma Experience Spine postoperative experience List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Chest tubes, stable trachs, external fixators, traction.
