    Hospital: CJW Medical Center Chippenham Campus VA Years Experience: 2 years Position Type: Travel Specialty: RN - Med Surg Start Time: 7:00 PM End Time: 7:00 AM Regular Pay: $78.00 Submittal Limit: - Remaining Submittals: - General Comments: =============== Unit Information: 4 Front Medical Trauma Unit Location: CJW Chippenham Medical Center Address: 7101 Jahnke Road, Richmond, VA Floor: 4th floor Building: Chippenham Medical Center General Information Tell us about the unit(s): Level of Care: Medical Surgical Number of Beds - 36 beds (32 private rooms, 2 semi-private rooms) Number of Staff – 60 Type of staff: o Day Shift – 1 charge, 6 RNs & LPNs , 3 Patient Care Techs, 1 Department Assistant o Night Shift - 1 charge, 6 RNs & LPNs , 3 Patient Care Techs Patient Ratios – 5-6:1 Type of equipment – remote telemetry, vein finder, bladder scanner, EKG machine, Doppler, Hoyer Lift, glucometer, pulse ox, scales, wound vac EMR - Meditech Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. RN or LPN license. Preferred or nice to have: Trauma experience Telemetry experience Specialized aspects of care on unit / management of: complex wounds administration of blood products pain management tubes and drains – NG, PEG, feeding tubes, surgical drains chest tubes Best personality Fit: Team player Compassionate Required Certifications: Basic Life Support - BLS Dress Code: Scrub Color/Attire - navy Weekends and On call(if any) Every other weekend, no call
