    Hospital: Henrico Doctors Hospital-Forest VA Years Experience: 2 years Position Type: Travel Specialty: RN - PCU Start Time: 7:00 PM End Time: 7:00 AM Regular Pay: $80.00 Submittal Limit: - Remaining Submittals: - General Comments: =============== Unit Information: PSU (Progressive Surgical Unit) Location: Henrico- Forest Address: 1602 Skipwith Drive, Richmond, VA 23229 Floor: 2nd General Information Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds – 12 Number of Staff – 20 total Type of staff: Day Shift – 3 or 4 nurses (one charge with pt) and 1 pct Night Shift – 3 nurses and 1 pct Patient Ratios – 4:1 Type of equipment – central lines, pca, epidural, drains, foley, wound vac, wound care. EMR – Meditech Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Able to read cardiac monitor Able to give narcotics Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. Stepdown experience Post-surgery experience List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Colon resections, whipple, liver and kidney surgeries, vascular, trauma Any surgeries other than cardiac surgery – some medical overflow Cardiac drips (popular Cardizem amiodarone, heparin) Best personality Fit: Team player – critical thinking – kind and compassionate REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: BLS, ACLS Floating Area(s): Tele and med surg Dress Code: Scrub Color/Attire – all navy Unit Guidelines/Policies: VS and assessments q4h Rhythm interpretation q4h Weekends and On call: Every other weekend – overtime available
