We perform a variety of Cardiovascular, IR, Vascular, EP, and Neuro procedures during the hours of 6:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday-Friday. Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: Must have: Strong clinical skills to deal with a variety procedures and patients Experience in Cath Lab, IR/Vascular Lab, Electrophysiology procedures Rad Techs- Scrubbing/panning and circulating in interventional procedures. Monitoring is preferred but not required RNs- experience in circulating, monitoring, and administering conscious sedation in Cath Lab invasive procedures. ICU, ER, and experience in caring for critically ill patients. Scrubbing is preferred but not required List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Cardiac, IR, Vascular cases EP cases Neuro Best personality Fit: Must work well with a variety of personalities, ability to work as a team, communicate effectively, stay calm under pressure, and utilize problem solving and critical thinking skills. REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: ACLS and BLS required. Rad Techs- Required- Radiology Technologist ARRT, certification as a Radiology technician or Cardiovascular Technologist; Registered Cardiovascular Interventional Specialist (RCIS) credential preferred. RNs- Required- Registered Nurse licensure. Critical Care (CCRN) and Trauma certifications (TNCC) are preferred In the state of Texas Cardiac Cath Lab techs working with radiological equipment must have MRT license along with the certifications required for their specialty. Weekends and On call On call is approximately 1-2 days per week and 1 weekend per month.
